Sid Marshall: Badge of Honors Dev-Log Update #2


Hey guys, what's up...? I know I haven't been active too much on the development scene but by watching tutorials I kind of have a basic wall-jump and wall-slide mechanic implemented. The run I feel is much better with acceleration (although, double-jumping kind of got nerfed in this update but I will re-add it soon). More movement-sets and animations still need to be added and/or fine-tuned, and the overall basics need to be bug-free (it might be hard to do but in the future I'll try my best to make the prototype feel smooth). If anything, I will update you guys on Itch.io with a new prototype version if there are more features and/or bug-fixes implemented. Stay warm and safe, and keep on gaming!  Features that's been tweaked or added:

  • Movement System: Wall Slide and Wall Jump, Better Run.
  • Animations: Animation plays correctly when landing on the floor and falling off of the ground other than that still similar than before.
  • Collisions: Collisions for the character read a better now.
